Tyler Sims is a licensed sports agent and entrepreneur with a proven record in athlete representation, leadership, and personal development. He founded Hooties Sports Group (formerly Hooties Sports & Entertainment Agency) in 2022 and has since secured FIBA, NIL, and CFL licenses, representing more than 50 athletes and negotiating over $350,000 in contracts. Tyler has also partnered with established agencies as both a contract advisor and scout, helping athletes secure professional opportunities worldwide.

In addition to his work in sports management, Tyler has extensive experience in education, mentoring, and youth development, building programs that focus on leadership, discipline, and long-term growth. His ability to combine business strategy with athlete guidance has made him a trusted advocate for both players and families.

 

Tyler earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Family Consumer Sciences from Jacksonville State University, graduating Cum Laude and receiving the honor of Most Outstanding Student in Human Sciences — the first African American male to do so. He has also been recognized with multiple awards for leadership, community service, and program development.
